WHAT’S COVERED ONLY AT A DENTOX COURSE: You will be taught how to mix different concentrations for different procedures. This is not only demo’d on a screen but you will have Botox vials + saline in front of you that you will reconstitute yourself. Then as each and every treatment (48 different sites) is covered you will perform the needle insertions on a mannequin head (yours to keep for revision). Your sites will be checked (and corrected if necessary ) as you do them. Only after you are certain of all sites, depth’s and angles, will you then inject your live patient. This will all be done under the supervision of the most experienced Botox experts in the country.
This course has been approved for continuing education credit.
DENTOX instructors have been using Botox (botulinum toxin) on their patients as a facial pain therapeutic and for esthetic applications, TMJ syndrome and occlusal disease for close to twenty years. The use of Botox is taught by the DENTOX in a number of prestigious medical and dental universities. These treatments have tremendous potential to provide new services and better treatment outcomes in every medical and dental practice.
Many patients have mild to severe levels of peri-cranial muscle pain, whether it is from migraines, stress, occlusion or TMJ dysfunction. Our course will teach you the treatment of these painful muscles and associated tissues with botulinum toxin for improved outcomes in facial pain treatment.
