A blood bank in Southwest Florida is launching a new program on Black Friday called the “Donating Never Looked So Good Campaign.” Donors can get free Botox treatments as a thank-you for donating blood.
A press statement announced the promotion, a collaboration with many St. Petersburg Med Spas, will end on December 1.
“The need for blood donations may become critical as the holiday period approaches,” stated the CEO of a blood center in Southwest Florida. “This is a great time to work on some of the area’s dermatology and aesthetic procedures. In addition to highlighting the value of blood donations, we also want to give our contributors a unique chance to win services provided by our campaign associates. We believe that “Donating Never Looked So Good” will be a hit this season and be an innovative ad and a special means of bringing attention to our goal.”
At select fixed sites and specific mobile blood drives, donors will have the opportunity to receive Botox vouchers valued at up to $140 for injections as a token of appreciation during the campaign.
A nurse practitioner at a Suncoast clinic and campaign partner stated, “Donating blood is an important part of improving community health, and as a company that cares about its customers’ well-being, we know this to be true. This Christmas season, we can contribute to the efforts of a blood center in Southwest Florida by partnering with them for their ‘Donating Never Looked So Good’ campaign. We can also spread awareness about their vital objective of giving blood. Everyone should do their share to promote the community’s health, and this project is a beautiful fit with our caring and compassionate principles.”
A blood center in Southwest Florida serves Southwest Florida only, as opposed to other blood banks that accept local collections and send them to a network of healthcare centers throughout the state and even outside of it.
