Britt Ekland is steadfast about not giving up Botox

Britt Ekland’s refusal to give up Botox indicates her inflated sense of self-worth when it comes to her physical looks.

Despite earlier criticism of her cosmetic surgery decisions, the 80-year-old actress has no plans to stop getting wrinkle-freezing injections in order to maintain her youthful appearance for as long as feasible.

“I had horrific surgeries done to me and had to live with the commentary: Why did she do that to herself?'” she told the Sydney Morning Herald.

“Yes, I am a vain person. Very self-absorbed. The mirror is your best friend, as I am wont to remark. On the other hand, I’ve looked like Britt Ekland ever since she existed. I refuse to give up at this juncture.”

Britt revealed some personal details about her love life, including the fact that she has been unmarried for the past 25 years after giving up dating to focus on raising her youngest son, TJ, the product of her marriage to drummer Slim Jim Phantom.

She went on to say: “I didn’t want to bring another man into the picture until he turned 18. Introducing my kids to guys was a huge mistake, in my opinion.”

Britt, who was married to Peter Sellers in the 1960s, said it’s far easier for her to remain single than to maintain a romantic partnership. What did she say? “I’m not interested, and I don’t have the time to look. There are too many complexes.”

Britt Ekland's children are Victoria, whom she had with ex-husband Sellers, and Nico, whom she has with record producer Lou Adler.

The actress has a daughter, Victoria, from her marriage to Sellers and a son, Nico, with record producer Lou Adler.

She explained her past dating experiences, saying: “Oh, yeah. I was single and open to dating anyone. Yet I was not a promiscuous young woman. The freedom to make that decision was the most important factor.”

The healthcare professionals doing the treatment are experts at using Botox, so she won’t end up looking overdone.
