Dentox now offers two full days of procedures only for all providers that want more experience using injectables. Limited class sizes guarantee individualized attention directly from Dr. Katz, the inventor named on the patent application for Botulinum Toxins.. which include Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, etc (more about Dr. Katz). All attendees may bring 2 patients or will be matched up with at least 2 patients desiring multiple esthetic and/or therapeutic treatments. There is no didactic session. It is recommended that you participate in a live or online Dentox program before signing up for these two full days of procedures. Each case will be discussed before during and after treatment. By the end of the day you will experience at least 30 patients undergoing a variety of procedures.

Learn which materials and dilutions are best for particular indications. Reconstitute your own materials including neuromodulators and fillers. Perfect your needle and cannula techniques. Practice doing a variety of subdermal, intramuscular and supraperiosteal injections with one on one supervision.

• Learn how to avoid common communication, planning, diagnostic, overtreatment and under-treatment & maintenance pitfalls as they relate to the patients selected.
• Learn how to manage esthetic failures, side-effects and neuromuscular complications
• Didactics and case discussions focused on actual live patients being treated prior to treatment (Pre-requisite for course attendance is proof of completion of another Dentox Botox or Filler Program or similar program)
• Receive mentorship from world-class faculty & professionals
• Treat partial or full face esthetics with neuromodulators and fillers – you select the procedures you want to improve your competency

Lifting Corners Of The Mouth:

In many cases, drooping of the mouth corners is caused by contraction of the depressor anguli oris (DAO), one of a paired set of jaw muscles that runs just beside the corners of the mouth. These are the muscles that pull down the sides of the mouth during frowning. As you frown, you can feel these muscles at work as they tense and pull downward. In this hands-on class, you will get hands-on experience relaxing these muscles with Botox to reduce drooping at the mouth corners.

Lip drooping may have other causes, including aging. As we get older, our skin loses collagen and elastin, fibers that are vital in supporting the skin. While collagen provides the skin a firm texture, elastin gives it the tightness associated with youth. As we lose these things through aging, the skin becomes less structured, causing it to have a less defined shape. The result is sagging, and this means drooping at the corners of the mouth. In this case, restoring the youthfulness of these areas may require fillers that contain hyaluronic acid, including top brands Restylane and Juvederm – which are also taught hands-on.

Smoothing Of The Lips:

The natural reduction of skin collagen as we age means our skin is less elastic on the face – and everywhere else on the body. This means skin starts to sag, causing lips to seemingly disappear into the face and become wrinkled. Additionally, sun exposure harms the lips just as it does other skin. Spending too much time in the sun without protection and especially getting a sunburn speeds the breakdown of collagen, and the lips are one place where this shows up early and prominently. Lips are also weakened and thinned by a deficiency of B vitamins, especially B12. When hair is oily or lips are cracked, these are signs of B vitamins deficiencies that impact the long-term appearance of the lips.

This hands on Botox program gives you hands-on experience properly placing injections into the center part of the top lip – often called the Cupid’s bow – and relaxing the unaesthetic action of the orbicular oris muscle. This large muscle is responsible for puckering and curling the lip under. Botox injections allow the top lip to curl up slightly, making it appear larger and fuller. It’s just one of the ways you’ll learn about for improving lips during this hands-on Botox and dermal fillers training class.

Getting Rid Of Smoker Lines:

Vertical lines that appear on the lips over time are often called smoker’s lines because smoking is a primary cause of them, but they may also be called lipstick lines and have other names as well. These stubborn wrinkles are actually caused by many factors, including genetics, lifestyle habits and, of course, aging. In fact, any kind of regular or repetitive lip movement can cause these lines, and such movements are hard for some people to prevent or stop. These wrinkles are particularly noticeable in women who wear lipstick because the lip color runs into these fine lines, making them even more prominent.

Our hands-on Botox and filler class shows you how to use dermal fillers to smooth smoker lines and Botox to decrease or eliminate repetitive pursing actions that can cause lines to form and deepen over time. Botox injections can create an immediate improvement by relaxing the muscles that cause the lines in the first place.

Smile Lines And Forehead Lines:

A variety of factors can be involved in the formation of smile lines and forehead wrinkles, including simply having an expressive face. The frontalis muscle of the forehead is involved in many of these lines. As the skin is forced to move, wrinkles are usually the result. Even something as simple as sleeping position can impact whether or not facial wrinkles develop – and when they develop. The main cause of these wrinkles, however, is photoaging. As the skin comes in contact with the sun’s UV rays over time, collagen and elastin in the skin break down, and sagging and wrinkling is the natural result without intervention. Smoking, which constricts blood vessels and therefore reduces the healthy flow of blood, can also play a role in these types of lines and wrinkles.

There’s a proper cosmetic treatment for every kind of wrinkle, and our hands-on Botox and dermal fillers class shows you how to selectively relax muscles to reduce wrinkles and the signs of aging that go along with them, resulting in a forehead and smile line areas that are smoother than ever before.

Jawline Strengthening And Cheekbone Enhancement:

Wrinkles aren’t the only things that make a face look old. Eliminating facial wrinkles may not eliminate all signs of aging. As we age, our eye sockets, upper jaw, nose and other facial bones change continually. Eye sockets generally enlarge while the angle of the bone located beneath the eyebrows decreases. The face changes in shape and structure and reduces overall in volume as we age. The bones of the middle of the face also change, reducing brow, nose and jaw angles. Even the length of the lower jaw changes.

But these changes aren’t reasons for concern for your patients. In our seminar, you can get hands-on experience using dermal fillers to create a youthful look far beyond what can be done with Botox alone – reshaping and restoring the face for a more pleasing look at any age.

Facial Pain, Including Migraines And TMD:

Underlying causes of TMD facial pain are often challenging to diagnose. Many factors can be involved, including stress, arthritis, teeth grinding, jaw injuries and injuries to the head and neck including whiplash. In addition to TMD, facial pain can be caused by salivary gland infections, sinus pressure, a deviated septum or the excruciating condition trigeminal neuralgia. Little is known about what causes migraine pain, but jaw clenching can be a factor – and it’s among the conditions that can be improved or cured with Botox injections.

In our class, get hands-on experience relieving pain with therapeutic Botox for facial pain, TMD and migraines. You’ll learn that Botox is about so much more than wrinkles.

Excessive Sweating:

Called hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating can cause enough perspiration that it soaks through clothing and drip off the hands. In addition to disrupting daily activities, this condition can also lead to understandable social anxiety and a great deal of embarrassment. While not all cases have a known cause, conditions as diverse as obesity and gout to menopause and tumors to mercury poisoning and diabetes or overactive thyroid can lead to this unpleasant condition.

But there’s hope for patients with hyperhidrosis in the form of carefully placed Botox injections into sweat glands, something you can learn hands-on when you take Botox and dermal filler training from us.
