Who Can Administer Botox & Fillers?

ANYONE is invited to sign up and learn to administer Botox with us – and that includes you. But a certification from Dentox isn’t a license. If you’re not a doctor – who is allowed to provide injectables in all jurisdictions – you’ll have to meet your state’s requirements to inject patients.

So why get a certification at all? Regardless of your state’s regulations, a certificate is required to get malpractice insurance coverage for injectables.

If you’re allowed to inject patients in the state where you train, Dentox allows you to bring a guest that you can inject with real product. But we allow EVERYONE to train on manikins, even if you’re not legally allowed to inject live patients. That means everyone learns hands-on.

Still in school? Train now and you’ll be ready to inject later. Own a spa? Learn Botox so you can understand what the injectors at your facility are doing.

If you’re not sure if you’re among those who can administer Botox in your state, call the appropriate state board using our State by State Medical, Dental and Nursing Boards list https://dentox.com/medical-dental-and-nursing-state-boards/

Here’s a quick summary:

Doctors are allowed to inject Botox in all states.
Nurse practitioners are allowed to provide injectables in most states, sometimes only when supervised by a physician.
Dentists are allowed to inject Botox in most states.
Physician’s assistants, registered nurses and other nurses are allowed to inject Botox in many states, but the type of nurse often matters, and usually under a physician.
Estheticians and spa personnel may be allowed to offer injectables, and if so, always under a physician’s supervision, but training is crucial for these providers since they usually have little to no medical background.

Get details for your state by contacting the appropriate state board. Ready to sign up for training? Reach out to us now – 858-550-9533.
